Paying for furniture from China via Alipay after the supplier's account was frozen
ImportChina

An importer was ordering furniture from China, but the supplier's account was frozen — the only way left to pay was crediting yuan to the company's Alipay.
The problem
- The Chinese supplier's bank account was frozen
- It could only accept payment to the company's Alipay in yuan
- A normal bank payment under the contract was impossible
What we did
- Built an agency scheme fully within Russian law
- Accepted rubles from the client under an agency agreement
- Credited yuan to the supplier company's Alipay
- Completed the operation the same day
The result
- The supplier received payment in yuan on Alipay
- The payment went through the day the client reached out
- The deal was handled within Russian law
- The furniture delivery wasn't disrupted
Takeaway
Even when a supplier is left with only Alipay, we make the payment through a legal agency scheme — we took rubles and credited yuan the same day.
